Social Companion
At Intenciones Apotheca, social companionship is offered as a grounded, respectful presence. I support clients through companionship, conversation, and participation in everyday activities, helping them feel less alone while engaging with the world at their own pace. All interactions are intention-led, consent-based, and clearly defined as non-therapeutic.
Services may include:
- Companion Support for Social Activities: Accompanying clients to events, errands, appointments, or social outings where having a familiar presence can provide comfort and ease. This may include cafes, community events, travel days, or other agreed-upon activities.
- Conversation & Connection: Offering a listening ear and meaningful conversation in a relaxed, non-judgmental environment. This is not counseling or advice-giving, but simple human connection and shared dialogue.
- Supportive Presence for Exposure & Practice: For clients who wish to gently practice social engagement, I can accompany them during agreed-upon activities as a supportive companion—allowing them to build confidence through experience, not treatment.
- In-Home or Out-of-Home Services: Companionship can take place in the client’s home, in public settings, or while traveling locally, depending on comfort and mutual agreement.
This service does not replace therapy, medical care, or mental health treatment. I do not diagnose, treat, or offer clinical guidance. Instead, I provide presence, companionship, and encouragement—meeting clients where they are and honoring their autonomy.
Social companionship through Intenciones is about shared humanity: moving through life with someone beside you, rather than alone.
